Update: I had to downgrade this particular review to 3 stars due to constant encounters with static electricity while driving around town. Radio, but most other reviews don't see signal degradation. I bought this because my standard antenna was hitting the garage going in and out. I don't want to damage the house or the truck so I bought this item after reading the reviews. I bought a 15 inch antenna which is about half the size of the stock antenna. It looks like she's doing her job, and it was easy. To install.
