It doesn't get that cold here in New Orleans, but every winter there is an occasional freeze, so it makes a good elegant option for the few times when a good one pair of genuine leather gloves to use; I can't speak to the warmth they have for use in colder climes than mine, of course, but they seem well made, soft and not bulky.
