Review on πŸͺš Chicago Pneumatic CP7255 5-Inch Orbital Sander by Brent Borseth

Great Orbital on Power & Hand Tools

After having this for a while and using it in the shop at work I really like it. That's all it says in the description. Light, fast, quiet, ergonomic. The 6" pad, which I also like, peels off the sandpaper and sticks to it without leaving a residue (it looks like plastic wrap, unlike the others). It is flexible to some extent but appears very flat, unlike some shop orbitals which appear to be "high centered". The recommended max air pressure is 95cfm but when you turn it on it does spin but it is said this could damage the "motor" or the bearings within it. I keep the line at 95 and all air tools work fine at that pressure. A few drops of air tool oil throughout the day will extend its life and should keep him happy. I get it, it's the best (imo) orbital in the store. And I can be quite critical.
