Review on Silver Grey Homebasix Closet Pull-Out Ironing Board: Easy to Install, Stow Away in Cabinet by Joseph Hernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pull-out path too short for cabinet with door.

LOVE: This ironing board is durable and well made. If you have an open closet or full height, it will fit. DISLIKES: Incomplete description. I installed it in a cabinet under a counter with doors and kept the gap height 6" below the opening (8" below the countertop). Turns out the rails were 2 inches shorter to allow the board to open without touching the countertop. Standard Overhang Clearance. To free it, I would have to mount the unit 12 inches below the countertop with this short rail. When I do that, the working height is only 28 inches, which is too low even for very small people.

Pros
  • Can be stored and folded away, easy to put back in the closet when not in use.
Cons
  • Low maintainability.
