They work but they are too dry

I'm worried that if I put this big box of cleaning pads on the floor they will be completely dry. I've read that they tend to be wet, but the actual batch I received was dry. I was a little worried they might scratch, but so far they haven't. Only they are quite difficult to clean because they are a bit dry. Overall I find them serviceable, but the quality is so-so.
