Might be good for prototyping, but that's it

Maybe that's to be expected at the price, but they're really low quality. I ordered several sets as the photos and product description sounded like good value for money. I received them, opened a set and immediately noticed really inconsistent resistance code bands on them, some were missing bands over half their circumference and the bands looked hand drawn! Part of the blue paint has peeled off. I just tested some of them for portability and they hit the mark. Anyway, I sent mine back. For example, if you use them for the breadboard in a high school electronics class, you'll be fine. But for projects that are really important to you, I recommend higher quality resistors. Another (albeit more expensive) resistor set is available here at Revain that contains more stats, is individually packaged and is of high quality. I don't see any difference between them and the good Xicons I get from mouser for $5/200. If you just need lots of resistors and are making mostly one way circuits then this is probably good value for money.
