I got this tool because my last one did a good job for decades. Well used but time to ditch it and get a new one for the next few years of work. We may not think about our batteries in our cars, trailers, or for our fishing boats. We need to take care of our batteries. For a very good contact, keep the connector clean. This tool does an excellent job of cleaning the inside of cable connectors to help support the contact area as well. Take it in hand and keep the battery posts and cable connections clean, clean them once a year or at least check them. The last thing we want when we're in a hurry is for our cars, boats, and trailers to lose power because the surface is dirty.
