This AC line splitter works as described.
I like this product because it is economical and gets the job done. There's nothing wrong. With this "line splitter" you can measure AC current in corded devices - resistive or inductive loads. You can use it to measure this current on a one-to-one basis, or amplify the current by a factor of 10 if needed. All in all, it's a solid piece of basic electrical test equipment.
