Purchased for use in a bike helmet in winter. The material is spandex type and it fits quite tight. The material has an overlap near the ears at the bottom of the lobe. It also has a headphone hole that doesn't quite line up with my ears, a bit deeper than my ear holes. Definitely not for long-distance trips of an hour or more. Will have to wait. The commute to and from work must be bearable, @ 49 minute drive. Update: I just wore this while cycling to work yesterday. It's too tight around my nose and ears. The "breathable mesh" pinched my nose to work. Along the way, I decided not to cover my nose due to discomfort early in the day. Felt a little better. My ears hurt after taking off the helmet. It does NOT stretch as advertised in "one size". I must have had a huge head😱😁 Otherwise it kept my cheeks warm and my neck area wasn't exposed to the wind.
