I wanted to connect my computer to the projector with this device, but I wasn't satisfied. The computer recognized the device as an HDMI monitor and I set the computer's output resolution to 1080 x 1920. The device outputted component signals with a resolution of 480 and 720, but when I switched the device to 1080, only a blank screen appeared on the projector. And when watching video at 720 resolution, the picture jumped and shook at times, although the video on the computer monitor was fine. So this would work for lower resolution still projection, I couldn't get it to work for higher resolutions on my computer and it was unsatisfactory for video.
