So I have an AW3418DW that weighs 16.10 pounds, which is down from the 19.8 pounds they say it can handle. The moment the monitor falls a little less than halfway, the bracket will fall slowly at first, and then rapidly when it reaches halfway. If I were to do this test at home my cat could easily jump onto the table which would cause her to tremble a little and the monitor to slowly lower and then immediately fall off. Rating changed to 5 stars - in favor of future buyers. So the instructions don't really say anything about it (in fact everything is in Chinese with pictures so I can't say for sure). There is a hex head screw just above the top and bottom pivot points of the monitor. In my case I didn't have the correct hex bolt so I got the impression you couldn't adjust that part. Luckily for me I had a whole bunch of Allen keys of all sizes and I decided to screw this part. Finally! My monitor was stable. If it eventually becomes unstable I'll post it, but for now it seems to be doing its job well.
