Thing is huge - so long it's difficult to put on, you have to cover almost the entire length of the strap. This thing fits easily on my biceps and I'm not a pushover. All that extra material makes it a lot bulkier than it needs to be, it feels and looks very chunky. The cheap stitching method also leaves about 1/2 inch of useless material on the sides of the band (black material in the picture), making it wider than it needs to be. It's not obvious in the photo, but there are only two magnetic strips/panels - enough to be positioned on the top, bottom or either side of the wrist - you can only use one of those areas if you're not turning the black part with the MagnoGrip logo is NOT magnetic - it's the same size as the two magnetic plates next to it and is filled with something like neoprene to make it look the same, but it isn't (foam is cheaper than magnets I think). I could basically return it. Although I've labeled the magnetic sections "plates", the entire plate is not magnetic. Each contains two round magnets (probably neodymium) the size of a coin. There is no strip of metal to spread magnetism. across the whole bar. Although they are strong enough to work, yes it would be better to have at least a third magnet in each strip and maybe a thin sheet of metal to disperse the magnetism. Finally, the velcro is poorly designed. There is a large square of velcro on the inside of the strap (on the hook side) as it should, and a velcro tab on the top (above the Magnogrip logo). The reason for using an extra tab is that due to the cheap way it's sewn together, the velcro square doesn't get close enough to the end of the band and so the end of the band sticks out uncomfortably without an extra velcro tab to hold it . . This appears to be an afterthought, a crude fix for a design flaw. If that was the only problem I could live with the cheap design. Overall, this is a half-hearted, deceptive product, the designers are clearly skimping on the corners to save money. If they make this size for human wrists, replace the fake plate with a real one, use more magnets, and use a better stitching method to eliminate the need for an extra velcro strap (in that order of priority), this would be a good article. As it is it can do its job but is mediocre at best. If you're the kind of person who appreciates quality and well-designed tools and is annoyed by crappy designs, you won't like this.
