I bought this product without understanding the difference between Micro USB and Mini USB; Unfortunately I couldn't use this for my devices as they all use micro USB. This is my fault and says nothing about the quality of this product. When trying to use the connector I noticed that the female end was very tight. It was almost difficult to connect my USB plug as I met some resistance, but that might be because it's a brand new product. Once plugged in, it holds the USB very securely so it will most likely survive any situation. Unfortunately I wasn't able to test the mini-USB side of the cable as it doesn't fit my devices, but the USB side has a very strong and secure connection, although a bit difficult to use initially.
