Review on AQUOS Haswing Saltwater/Freshwater Transom Trolling Motor - 12V Or 24V For Superior Fishing Performance by Douglas Cochrane

There is no way this is 55lb

This had to be a bad Motor! It was super slow. Barely faster than the old tired 15 year old 24lb minn Kota that this was supposed to replace. I tried three different batteries with this motor and no difference. I usually get 2.5mph with 24lb motor. 3.6 with a 32lb motor on the same boat. This motor at 55lb maxed out at 2.7mph. This should have been way faster. The steering tightness nob should be on top of the transom mount. not u derneath where its in water if you have to adjust away from the dockAlso their return policy y is BS. if you read it it says they will credit your original payment less shipping fees. OR PROVIDE THEM WITH A TRACKING NUMBER and they would credit your account Ina few days. Vs 10 days after they get it. I. Either way I'm not gambling on cheap Chinese stuff again to maybe have to send another one back and be charged again. I already ordered a comparable Minn Kota which is something I should have done in the first place. And again I really think it's crap that you get boned for postage fees on their defective garbage.

Pros
  • Seems to be very good.
Cons
  • Heavy and bulky design, which can be inconvenient to transport and store
