That's why I bought this meter because I was told it would work with 48V Trojan batteries. Put it in a test setup and it went up and down the scales once. Now it will only register at green light #8 regardless of battery condition. Based on the chart it should be 47.4v but when I hook up a voltmeter it's actually lower and I had to charge the battery, good thing I was close to home at the time. Not happy with poor instructions and zero customer support. save your money
