Review on 3Dman Extruder Creality Upgraded Aluminum by Elvis Bragg
More torque than standard
I've been printing with this extruder for several hundred hours with no problems. I should mention that this extruder is about 3-4mm taller than the standard extruder found on most Creality printers. You may need to make adapters or washers to fix the thread guide. As mentioned in other reviews, when installing, make sure the driven gear is the correct clearance from the housing. This should avoid most of the durability issues that some people have written about. Another issue to note is that the motor drive shaft does not protrude far enough to allow use of the hand-operated extruder gearbox. If you want that, you can do without this model.
