I am an adult with a small hat size (6 5/8) and often buy "youth" or "boy" sized hats. I'm also often disappointed that the so-called "youth" caps are only hats for adults that are sold as youth caps. Fortunately, that is correct. Not only is this hat smaller in circumference, everything about it is proportionally smaller. It has a slightly shorter beak and slightly less height. The hat itself appears to be quite well made from a denim-like denim twill fabric. The adjustable velcro on the back should be perfect for any small head. The stitching looked good and I didn't notice any obvious flaws. This hat comes in a variety of colors - enough to please a little head of all ages!
