Review on Brolly Ultra-Durable ☂️ and Compact Windproof Travel Umbrella by Monica White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for hiking or just in case

I bought this for ultralight mountaineering because at 3 ounces it's as light as the lightest Montbell for 1.5 times the price. I've used it several full rainy days on the trail and I'm very satisfied. It obviously doesn't have much coverage, but it's nice when the rain doesn't hit your head and shoulders directly. I was able to set it up for hands-free use, and the fact that you manually extend the ends of the ribs means you can narrow it down to get into tight spaces. It's also less likely to break in the wind as those ends just bounce back. I believe it should also offer at least some protection from the sun. I will definitely use it occasionally. One thing I'll probably never use is the plastic case. It's thick and bulky and weighs more than the umbrella itself.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
