The dog jacket is as advertised. People have complained about the size but I suspect they don't take measurements. If you stick to the size names you will be confused. I got the XS for a 30 pound mongrel with a 23.5 inch chest. The smallest dogs they target are "small" medium-sized dogs. I like the one that is built on the strap. That was an advantage for me. and I think the lining makes it nice and warm. We've used it twice, never with the lace straps. I think the elastic straps around the back legs will bother the dog and they don't seem necessary to keep the jacket stable.
