Relatively compact in size. Tested on my Thinkpad and Samsung S9+. both recognized the adapter immediately. I used a standard HDMI cable to connect my laptop to my LG TV. I then repeated this with s9+. both worked very well. no questions. I didn't check the transfer speed, but the USB ports worked fine. Pros: small size, good for traveling or just throwing in a bag, seems well made, no need to download drivers, works on both phones and laptops. ALSO cool feature, it will read/write multiple devices at the same time. I put the stick in one of the USB3 slots and the SD card in the slot and copied between them with no problem. (I've had other devices that only recognized one device/card at a time) Cons - no status nights to read/write USB or SD cards - not a huge con, but nice nonetheless. NO negative, just an FYI. The microSD slot labeled TF accepts microSD cards, but you rotate the card labeled DOWN. The full size SD slot label is facing up, so at first I assumed the TF card slot is defective or meant for a different size card, but it works with microSD, just flip the label down and it fits perfectly, reads and writes quickly. I received a discount for viewing this item. If it hadn't lived up to my expectations, I would have written an appropriate negative review and then returned the product. However, this device lived up to your expectations and I'd happily pay its current price of $25 for it.
