Review on 🚴 Maximize Comfort and Performance with Volt Saddle: The Ultimate Cycling Seat by Reginald Ward

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Relatively comfortable

I think the Volt is sort of an improved replacement for the Rocket V, which has been my favorite for years. I use the narrowest Volt on a track bike to ride a Zwift. It is narrower than the recommended WTB website tool. It's a little different from Rocket - thinner, with a more modern design. Volt with metal bars represents good value for money as at the time of writing the lighter bar options show a slight reduction in weight. Comfort largely depends on the shape of your pelvic bones and how long you will be in the saddle. All I can suggest is what I did: buy a cheap one and try it. If you think you can return it, wrap plastic tape around where you attach it to the clip and temporarily cover the seat with a plastic bag. This should save it as a new state. I still have an old, relatively heavy Rocket V on my bike that I ride outdoors. Probably more comfortable on long journeys.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • I have no real complaints about it, everything is fine
