I know my use case is probably more niche, but I've been trying to use this device to connect a 1080p/60Hz display, keyboard, mouse and audio interface directly to to connect my computer in another room to the cat5e connection. The display looked great, but the USB functionality had some downsides. The keyboard and mouse generally worked well, although the mouse occasionally stuttered. The main problem, however, was the audio interface. The sound was distorted, disappeared or just didn't work. I might have picked a bad module, but it was enough to make me reconsider my approach.
