I bought the kit from Harbor Freight because I needed it immediately but I wanted something better and the reviews were good. The pump in this kit is plastic, like the Harbor Freight, which is disappointing. The Harbor Freight kit has an adapter for GM car models, but this one does not. If you want to work with newer GM models, you need to buy an adapter FJC 43826. If you want to work with later Ford models you will need to purchase an adapter FJC 43831. To buy two additional adapters will cost you about $50 more.
