Review on ☕ Moccamaster 53941 KBGV Select: Polished Silver Coffee Maker with 10-Cup Capacity (1.25L/40oz) by Ashley Wood

I first bought from Revain (not sure who the real seller was) and it arrived damaged/defective (see photo). The packaging wasn't very good either, a piece was cut out of the outer and inner box. Wanted to send it back to Revain which made the return process really easy but wanted to report the incident to the manufacturer (Moccamaster/Technivorm). I called this 800 number (they are in Portland) and long story, they were fully taken care of by their customer service representative, Courtney. She said I could return the unit to them (even though they didn't sell it to me) and they would replace it for free. You won't believe the level of customer service they provide - they replaced the coffee maker with a brand new one and added a few extra treats for my "pains and ailments," so to speak. Now for the coffee maker itself: it's fantastic! Beautiful, functional, lightweight, easy to use and most importantly: makes the tastiest filter coffee I've ever had. I highly recommend that you call Moccamaster or go to their website if you are thinking of purchasing. That's really the only way out in this case. My experience buying from Revain was initially very poor and I'm glad I decided to call Moccamaster direct instead.
