I sell how-to videos and how-to videos on jewelry making and was looking for a flexible mount that was strong enough (or flexible enough) to hold my Sony FDR-AX33 camera. Although I have a Manfrotto retractable tripod, it's bulky and monstrous and I wanted something that could be easily stored (I just hide it behind my desk when not in use) since I work from my living room. It's just strong enough to hold the camera. It wobbles when the table is hit, which is the only downside (I suppose it won't be a problem for a lightweight gopro), but it allows me to move my arms freely and I appreciate the ease of use.
