Only buy these if you are a weight lifter - and even then

I bought these because they were described as being 25 inches longer than most flex neck bindings. This thing is so stiff that you'll need some serious muscle to bend it in any way. And then, when you finally have it where it should be (at least roughly, because it's so rigid that you can't do anything), it will slowly, slowly return to where it was before. I intend to return it. This thing is made for tanks or something, not webcams. Edit: I returned it.

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • May hurt

Exactly what I need for easy operation.

I sell how-to videos and how-to videos on jewelry making and was looking for a flexible mount that was strong enough (or flexible enough) to hold my Sony FDR-AX33 camera. Although I have a Manfrotto retractable tripod, it's bulky and monstrous and I wanted something that could be easily stored (I just hide it behind my desk when not in use) since I work from my living room. It's just strong enough to hold the camera. It wobbles when the table is hit, which is the only downside (I suppose it…

Too stiff and heavy to be useful

It's so stiff it can't be adjusted when clamped. The clamp cannot withstand the torque required to adjust the lever. The clamp doesn't even hold it in a static position when there's torque from gravity because it's so heavy. If you see how deep the "C" portion of the clamp is, you'll see that it sits right on the edge of any support structure, and if it's not solid metal, you'll likely rip the support structure before you can get enough grip to support it. Such a stiff hand may be appropriate…

Quality product, durable, camera screw a little annoying

Good product, the arm is longer than expected and much stronger/stronger. The clamp is also wider than expected which means I can actually use it on real tables. It offers a strong hold. It is difficult to bend the arm, it is very strong, which is not easy, but good, because then it does not fade and does not tremble. There's a slight tilt adjustment at the top, which is nice, my only complaint is the camera mount screw - you have to put the camera on it and rotate it, then use the dial to…

Works great if you know what you're doing.

This device works exactly as intended, but. This is a mechanical device. If you don't know how to use mechanical devices, you can run into trouble. You have to take it with TWO hands. You need to slide it into place while also relieving strain on the base. How you do that? I can't help you here. Just find someone who knows how to work with mechanical devices that aren't immune to jerks. So if you drop your iPhone do you give it 1 star because the glass broke? Well, maybe you should. All I can…

As long as I like it - Webcam Stands and Mounts

This is intended for use with lightweight cameras but I wanted to try it on my DSLR as I knew my camera might be too heavy for it (this is my own risk and I take responsibility for it). Anyway, this seems to work fine, although I'll be careful as it's somewhat "off-label". The cable is very strong, and the fact that it takes some effort to bend is a good thing - it means it will hold your camera stably in the desired position without "wilting like a wilting flower". . The swivel is flexible and

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Annoying

-1 star: Poor quality camera mount. It feels like it doesn't take anything to break it. It appears to be a more brittle type of plastic, I wouldn't even consider taking it outside in cold weather, say if you want to mount it to a porch railing to record something outside. Slide the clip away from what it is attached to. I was hoping to use it when logging my workouts, but then put it aside for the other 38 hours of the week. I don't need this camera. The hand is VERY stiff, which while some…
