My car had a blown head gasket. Thought since I was there why not change the timing belt right away. I took off the valve cover and my jaw dropped. 293,000 miles according to original Honda timing belt. This bitch was exhausted. The edges are frayed and the entire belt is torn around the perimeter. I don't know how I never clicked. I installed a new water pump and idler pulleys with a new belt. By the way, that's correct. Pay attention. 100% recommended.
