🔧 Genuine Mopar 5038041AA Oil Filter: Premium Quality for Efficient Engine Maintenance Review

Great value for money, never had a problem with it. The weird thing is that Revain says it's "incompatible" with my Hellcat, but I've used it with no problems (even called the dealer's tech department to check and they said it was safe). Overall I would recommend them for the Hellcat (or the 5.7 engine I used before my HC).

Installed on a 2016 Challenger Scat Pack 6.4L Shaker. The original filter that the car came with was Mopar 04884899AC and I replaced it with this one. Was the same size and fit perfectly. It was used on the first oil change (4500 miles) and will continue to use this filter with 0w-40 Ultra Platinum Penzoil. I will post a photo of the original oil filter in case anyone needs to see it.

I no longer trust the dealer to change the oil and filter because the filter is cheap and the wrong oil was used at $120. I use an SRT filter and Pennzoil Ultra 0W-40 oil which is formulated for SRT oil. I had to splurge for a ramp, jack and stand, but now I know my Hemi 6.4 is getting the right oil; and filter. I get 7 liters of Pennzoil and this filter is sent out every 6 months. Treat yourself to a 6.4 Hemi and get a good oil filter.

I was initially impressed with the filter. Mopar SRT OEM packaging etc. I finally put this filter on my 6.4L 392 and immediately noticed what looked like metal balls/flakes on the inside of the filter (which wore out before the photo appeared). Then I noticed an uneven pink sticky pad (RTV) leaking out of the back of the filter - see pic. I would NEVER put this in my favorite car. Don't buy, I believe they sell factory seconds/defective parts.

I got this for my 2015 Charger R/T 5.7L Hemi, after a few months I noticed oil dripping where I parked my car, took it to the shop and they fixed it sure it came from that oil filter! Thought it was supposed to be high performance, most likely crap, fake or not really designed to work with 5.7, but absolutely positive in any case. The white casing is easier to see if you lie underneath or check for leaks from time to time. 3 layers of packaging, always comes out of the box very clean, no dust on the seal. These are the best oil filters you can buy for your Hemi! I bought my Charger RT from Carmax a few years ago. I assume they changed the oil before I went home. I changed the oil myself and found that CarMax uses the cheapest and smallest oil filter that fits this car. SRT oil filter fits my 15 year old Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 V8 HEMI. It is exactly the same size as the MOPAR MO-899 oil filter: 93mm, 15 pins that I used before.
