Review on Enhance Radar Detector Performance with Mirror Mount Bracket for Uniden DFR Series Detectors by Troy Jennings

Bought 2 - one for a Subaru Outback, the other for a Ford Transit. I've installed Uniden R7 units and DVRs in both - while the cheap useless cable sets I ordered didn't work, this mount has DID! It's easy, took literally 5 minutes to install and holds R7 blocks perfectly. While there is "somewhat" flex, it's a very strong mount. In any case, the play is significantly less than with suction cups. Overall for $ one of the best values out there. There are far more sophisticated products out there that sell for four times the price (you know which one), and that's no better. The only restriction is that your mirror must have a run between the ball joints on the mirror and the windshield. If your mirror is mounted directly to the windshield and only has a ball joint, this device probably won't work. Luckily most cars have one barrel and two ball joints. Buy with confidence, this is a good product!
