Mid 2013 480GB installed on my Macbook Air. I installed it a little differently than the instructions and instead of cloning the disk I wanted to clean and format it. I had to use Disk Utility from an old bootable Mavericks USB because High Sierra didn't format APFS for some weird reason. I then swapped drives, cleaned up my installed High Sierra, and used OSX Migration Assistant to copy each one to my new hard drive, making it easy to copy all my files. The Thunderbolt connection made this a quick task. I've been using it for two months now, and while it feels like it's getting pretty hot at times (and the MacBook usually does too), there haven't been any of the panics or kernel crashes mentioned in OWC.
