When I read reviews I usually read some of the 5 stars and some of the one star. It really isn't a star. Actually I would give it a two or three star rating. I give it 1 star for its extended readership. For a really cheap price, this is a pretty interesting toy. In fact, I find it amazing that a device in this price range can do almost what it almost can. I'm a retired programmer so I salute the kids who no doubt spent many 15 hours a day programming all these functions into this inexpensive tiny device. At one point I guess they noticed some free memory, and some suit came up with the brilliant idea of programming a fun feature that supposedly tells you how to relax by telling you when to inhale and exhale. But as I said, for most of the purposes mentioned, the device does not provide reliably useful information. I found that the pedometer missed steps by about 30%, but not by 30%. Even after several calibrations with the corresponding app, the blood pressure dropped by 15-25%. The pulse oximeter often read around 90% (an alarming level in these times of Covid) when the pulse oximeter on my finger read 99%. I think a heart rate monitor might be useful. It consistently reported readings close to my Polar chest heart rate monitor. I will probably use a heart rate monitor during my runs. One issue for serious runners (not me) is that the actual HR display is in small print and turns off a few seconds after you turn it on. Serious runners will probably want an always-on, large-print display for easy monitoring while they run.
