I bought this reader a few months ago because it was cheap and portable. I was never able to get it working consistently on my Windows 2000 system. When I insert any type of memory card, Windows 2000 tells me I've mistakenly removed the USB device from the system and the drive icons in the Windows explorer. In order for the reader to work, I have to manually stop the USB device and then hope that the system "finds it" and adds the drives to Windows Explorer. If the reader is RECOGNIZED by the system, there's no problem, but getting there is a headache! At worst, the drivers send a tether to the UMONIT.EXE (USB monitoring) process with 99% CPU usage and my system becomes unusable until I stop it manually. I had particular trouble getting it to work with SanDisk OEM SD memory cards. I've reinstalled drivers and hardware more times than I can count with no success. I contacted tech support a few months ago and they sent me down some stupid paths that didn't work. Now I see that there is no more information about this product on the Dazzle website. Your knowledge base only points to the Pinnacle website. I cannot vouch for performance with other Windows OSes, but if you have Windows 2k BEWARE!
