Absorbent but small
Although they are 10" tall at the time of purchase, they will shrink on the first wash or use. Now their area is less than 9 inches. And while they have excellent absorbency they are quite flimsy and when you wring out the water they are very small and difficult to get all the water out for wiping counters etc. They are quite thin and don't have much volume for cleaning dishes or pans with. . good for washing things that don't need scrubbing, but won't fan out as far as they will hold. Also, they tend to just hold food scraps from dishes or cupboards. .
