Perfect for my need to complement the cooling fans in my desktop externally and inexpensively. It has an on/off button, but I leave it on most of the time. It's a tiny click of absolute silence and inaudible over the general ambient noise in my house. Except for the metal parts in the motor and here and there metal Phillips screws, it is plastic, including the blades. The protective case has holes about 6mm wide, so even the smallest finger is unlikely to be injured. It creates a strong wind aimed at the air intake vents and keeps my desktop's internal temperature well below that which triggers a temperature alert. For the price I paid for this fan deck, this is a great deal. It would also be ideal for keeping people and pets cool when needed, although I believe computers come first. Arrived on time, packaged very securely.
