This ink pad is perfect for me. It's not as thin and tiny as a CD case. This is a lightweight acrylic, quite durable. This is the perfect size for me. I have a Tim Holtz stamp platform and I think I will be using this one many times. I love that it's lightweight and doesn't look bulky/clunky and this stamp platform has no obstructions on three sides giving you more options for paper placement. Lightweight acrylic makes it easy to print onto paper. Also, the grid lines are more visible for easier alignment. It works great with clear rubber stamps, but for thicker rubber stamps I would use my Tim Holtz or stamp blocks. This stamp tool is good for holding stamps in place when you need to stamp again. I am very happy with the quality, ease of use and price of this stamping platform.
