I've been in the automotive industry for 30 years - this has become one of my favorite tools. It's versatile - I can use it to sand in hard-to-reach places, or I can switch to buffer pads and buff small areas that would be inaccessible with a regular buffer. At the same time, it allows me to buff out some minor paint imperfections on large panels without having to lift and use a heavier buff, which also allows for less shrinkage and less cleaning after buffing. Highly recommended. Battery life is long enough to get you through work and 2 batteries are included - one will charge while you use up the other.
