I hate giving bad reviews but this product and company make it inevitable. My daughter got this as a gift and loved it - she loves jellyfish in aquariums and it was an instant hit. We strictly followed the instructions and always used distilled water. It worked great and she always used the outlet as she turned it on every night. Then one day (about 6 months after the appointment) he stopped working. No lights, no bubbles. Revain's online return period was ending so I was advised to contact the manufacturer, which I did. Apparently they didn't read my email carefully and stated that it was damaged by ordinary water and that it was out of warranty. Neither was true, but still. Revain fixed the situation and then we thought about what to order as a replacement. We finally decided on a shiny lava lamp because I only assumed that another jellyfish lamp would break within a year due to the poor quality. Other reviews seem to confirm my opinion.
