that's why I give 3 stars - the picture is incredibly deceptive! You have to buy about 4-5 of these to achieve this on a standard window so I gave it 1 star for thickness. I also don't like thick ugly plastic hooks, which by the way should be clips because they're pretty inefficient. I like that – they are beautiful and create atmosphere. There are about 10 settings for how they can flicker. There's a remote control (which is nice, but doesn't work very well) I also like that it can be controlled from an outlet if you lose control. Unfortunately I didn't get to shoot videos in the dark, but if you look closely you can see how scattered they are. (Mine has also grown about 2-3 feet tall because of the cats.)
