I bought these lights to replace the regular LED patio lights I already have. I wanted to update so I don't have to manually change the color of my holiday/seasonal/whimsy bulbs. I should have looked at the specs a little more closely. Although the cord portion of the lights are heavy rubber like the ones I've had (for 5 years), everything else about them is very different. MY EXISTING LAMPS: 24 outlets per 48 foot string. (I think that's standard for most patio lights) Eighteen inches between outlets. VERY bright LED lights. THESE DEVICES: 15 outlets per 48 foot cord. 3 feet between outlets! VERY weak pears. The brightness of these bulbs is at least half as bright as my old ones. Added to this is the distance between the sockets and the very low level of lighting. You can also perform better as decorative lighting with an 18-inch output distance. Very disappointed. Garbage. I come back.
