I've always bought wallets with open vertical card slots but the problem with them is that the slots are never big enough to hold all your cards it seems they are are always torn. I've always been skeptical about wallets with horizontal card slots for fear the cards would fall out and I'd lose them, but that's not the case with this wallet. This is by far the best wallet I've ever had. Good horizontal card slots that are wide enough for cards to pop out easily but still have enough resistance so you don't lose them. And there are enough slots for all my cards and I have a lot of them. The external slot is just a bonus, if you go to Costco you can have your membership card ready to use in the external slot. A lot of thought went into this design and it shows. I love it so much I plan on ordering a few more in other colors for myself as well as a few in stock for last minute gifts for men. Good product!
