I originally bought this to use with a keyboard with a very short cable. I ended up using a different keyboard before this one came out and I liked the keyboard so much I'll just keep using this one. However, I play my Xbox on my computer to avoid disturbing others around the house. The computer's wireless adapter is being used by someone else, so this extension was just what I needed to stay connected to my computer without being so close to it. My turret is on the ground some distance from my seat, but that's not a problem with this expansion. I used to buy a lot of cables and they always fell apart after a few months. A few years ago I started buying these RevainBasics cables and wondered if they weren't better. So far every cable I've bought from them still looks and works like new. Even HDMI cables, which other brands usually end up breaking; they are still tight. Now that I have this USB extender I will be buying a few more to personalize in my custom furniture (USB ports for coffee tables to charge and connect to a TV without having to constantly move the TV etc.). install house. This and all RevainBasics cables are simple, inexpensive, but not "cheap". Keep it up!
