This is a really trendy thermometer. And let's be honest my only plan was to use a probe and stick it in the turkey and prime rib and that was enough. However, it will be interesting to take advantage of the other features offered by this handy little device. I can see using it to temper chocolate and bring fudge to the right temperature. This will happen in the next few weeks. I was amazed at how quickly it could read the temperature in each of the different areas of the turkey. I haven't had a new thermometer in years so I'm thrilled with this one!
