I see others complaining about Yosemite incompatibility and this might be a different one. with Time Machine 300 GB in about 4 hours Moved to a newer Macbook Pro Launched with Yosemite 10.10.2 Time Machine would not mount and would not delete. I was able to circumvent the latter by putting it back into the RE partition for just one partition and then mounting it and allowing any level of secure erase. Deleted and sent back for a refund. Either Apple needs to get rid of every nightmare of selling Yosemite, or third parties need to network more closely with Apple's top engineers so they CAN make compatible devices. Three stars for the very simple assembly. Works quietly. Looks nice. Negative result: outage in less than a month. It didn't pop out like the cable on Wes Digital drives, but it will definitely pop out with touch or wind.
