Bought 4 4GB Ram for my old PC. After checking the motherboard specs, I was able to add up to 16GB to my four slots. I removed the old RAM and put 4GB in each free slot. The computer did not start. Removed 4GB from slots 3 and 4 and the computer booted fine reading 8GB total. Reinstalled two other ram sticks and failed to boot again. I removed and installed the old 2GB flash drives in slots 3 and 4 and the computer booted and only read 12GB. I reordered the same replacement flash drives and installed 2-4GB in slots 3 and 4. The computer started and showed 16 GB. So the two ram sticks were bad and sent back. The replacement was sent quickly and all is well. I'm just surprised I had a 50% bounce rate.
