Review on Xantrex 813 5000 UL XPower 5000W Inverter by Todd Stovall

This is a modified non-pure sine wave as stated on the first line of the description. I wish I had paid more attention to the first sentence. Doesn't work with my induction torch. Works great with everything else. The box fan hums a bit when connected to this inverter, but still works well. The box fan didn't work at all on my last inverter. But with the new pure sine wave inverter I just bought it doesn't hum at all and my induction torch works great. But back to this inverter, it was shipped quickly and arrived early, professionally packaged and in brand new condition. I installed it in my new trailer and it does everything it says it will do. The device is silent and does not make any noise when used under heavy load. Overall this is a great device for the price. But this is a modified sine wave, not a pure sine wave.
