Great replacement for my old air filter. The mark on the table is slightly smaller than a large saucepan. True, this requires more space, since the air intake is located at the bottom. Fan speeds are low/sleep, high, and auto, which usually stays low unless it detects some level of particulate matter and switches to high. I've never seen it change unless I specifically added something like smoke to it. The "High Speed" setting is a noticeable fan audibility, so I tend to turn Alexa on high when I leave the house and on auto when I come back. Then low settings? I had to personally check how quietly it works. A light breeze blows from above, but it keeps the air inside. I actually had to add white noise (rain sounds) when switching to keep my tinnitus from flaring up and ringing in my sleep. There is absolutely no voice control. With Google Home, at the time of this review, you only have a power button. With Alexa, you have On/Off, as well as Low/Small, High/Medium, and Auto/Large (labeled due to Alexa limitations). The temptation to have Alexa turn on the air filter in the morning to wake me up with the lights. In addition, everything works very well with the air quality.
