I have had an Apple Watch since the launch of the Series 1. Now I have the Series 3. I still watch it. I use this all the time. I bought a "cheap" smartwatch just to see how it works. Actually not bad. The only thing I really missed about the Apple Watch was the temperature. Here in the Phoenix Desert, knowing the temperature is important to know what to expect during the day. Yirsur had temperature as a function. I thought I'd try. You can see I set up the watch with an analog watch face. Old school I know, but it works for me. Lots of information on one screen. The only thing I don't have is my next event on the calendar. iPhone events are yet to come, including a 30-minute event notification. There are many features I haven't explored yet. A few notes: 1) I scratched the glass (not as hard as the Apple Watch). I took a screen protector designed for Apple's 42mm screen and tried it out. It's a bit small but protects an important part of the screen. Maybe Yirsur can think of something more appropriate. 2) I like to have a backup of important parts like the charging cable. I don't see where to order. Maybe I can find it somewhere. Conclusion: Great watch at a great price. I've had a few strange things happen that turned out to be operator errors. 1) My screen type has changed. What's happening? It turns out that the shaking clock icon in image 2 is for changing the screen by shaking your wrist. The first character is for changing the screen by swiping up from the home screen. Light. 2) When I got up in the morning, the temperature was wrong. And never changed. I finally tried pairing the watch and iPhone again and it worked. What's happening? The second time this happened, I wondered if there was enough distance between my phone and watch at night to turn off Bluetooth. Yes indeed. I'll try to place the phone closer tonight and see if it stays paired.
