There were so many of them at Revain it was hard to choose. This was the one someone recommended so after going through all the others I came back to this one and decided to buy it. The side piece that slices the avocado is plastic, not metal. There is no cover for it. I didn't know if those differences mattered. You are not. In fact, it's 100 times better to be plastic because I never accidentally cut myself ripping it out of the drawer, but it easily cut my avocado in half. Then an external seed container. I thought oh no, my seed is too small. nope He just hooked it and unhooked it, and the seed came right out. Then a slicer. I don't know how to cut or even peel an avocado. So I didn't make perfect slices, but I certainly pulled every large avocado out of the skin in no time! zero time. I could go back in time. It was that fast. bam! Guacamole heaven. I buy a lot of useless gadgets but this thing is amazing and I love it!
