This lens takes REALLY GOOD pictures for the money. I had to think long and hard about whether to go or return. But the lack of clicks on the aperture ring and the too-tight fit on the camera body killed the deal. I am using the X-T30 and the Fuji manual focusing with Split Image, Digital Microprism, Focus Peak Highlight etc. was too complicated for this lens. If Fuji made a split prism like the old Nikon F-System, this lens (or any other manual lens) might have a chance. In any case, all the good reviews are well deserved. But in no particular order: (1) The lens was just too tight to put on and take off, and I worried about dropping it. I even sent the first lens back thinking I had a bad lens. But no. The change was the same. (2) Then the aperture ring has no clicks holding the aperture in place. I found that I accidentally moved the ring several times. (3) Eventually, it turned out that I was having too much trouble concentrating. But that's probably more of an issue with Fuji and my comfort level with Fuji's manual focus options. Attention Japan! The Chinese are clearly on target. Maike could be another Samsung in camera and lens development.
