Fiction! Very bright and works at long distances with Power Injection.

I have a string of 500 divided by 250, 12m (40ft) of extension cord and then 250 more lights all powered by a small LED2013-X controller. I wired the headlights with Boscoyo strips and the 18-2 bulbs are fully zipped. At the beginning and end of each cord, it is connected to a lamp wire to provide power. Each end of the 250 bulbs connects to the computer's power supply and supplies 5V. It connects to the hard drive connector on the power supply and works great. The only fault I can find with these lights is that they use 22ga wire which is flimsy but with 500 lights there is no problem and a small controller that works great. The strings have extra power cords dangling from either end to provide power, and you'll need them if you plan on going all white with two strings attached. The best you can do is two threads from the wall using one of the color swatches. (White draws the most power, so power must be supplied from 2 or more strings) I used tape to waterproof the connectors. Let's see how it performs as the season progresses. I was blown away by how well they work with thin wires and how far they are controlled by the tiny controller.
